Hello! I'm Cihan, and I currently serve as a Digital Project Manager at Istcode.Istcode is an agency that provides 360 degree digital marketing services. It cooperates with many corporate and startup companies. They have partnerships with Google and Meta.Before this role, my professional journey included working as an Associate Product Manager at Game Factory. Game Factory is an online incubator tailored for game developers, boasting a vast community and an extensive partner network (Google for Startups, Miro, Github, Microsoft, Unity, Amazon, and more). Being part of a dynamic, young, and ambitious team passionate about gaming was an amazing experience for me.Before delving into more about myself, I'd like to briefly explain why I chose to work as a Product Manager. One significant advantage of working in a startup is the opportunity to face different challenges every day and find creative ways to contribute to product growth. This process has been a continuous learning experience for me, leading me into the world of Product Management.However, my interest in Product Management was further enriched by my five years of experience in the gaming industry. Gaming, for me, transcended being just a hobby. It became an immersive experience covering all aspects, from initiating a startup and securing investments to navigating publisher agreements. During this time, I had the opportunity to take on various roles such as 2D Artist, 3D Artist, Unity Developer, Project Manager, Level Designer, and even Co-Founder. In short, I was a classic Indie Game Developer.The gaming industry is a constantly evolving and dynamic field. This dynamism always presents new opportunities for me to explore fresh visions. Creating product strategies, conducting market analyses, studying competitors, developing user stories, generating content, designing, and business development – these are just some of the diverse skills I've acquired. They inspire me to learn the best practices in this industry.On my website, I will share experiences and lessons from this journey.
